We call on you to immediately appeal the decision striking down New York’s Climate Superfund Law and defend our state’s ability to make polluters pay for the damage they’ve done to our climate and communities. 

This decision was based on faulty logic and bad-faith arguments made by Big Oil companies, the Trump Administration, and Republican Attorneys General. 

As our top law enforcement officer, we urge you to challenge this decision and make sure New Yorkers aren’t left paying for the fossil fuel industry’s lies and pollution.
